Can Sir Chocolate, LLC accessorize the table to fit the theme of my event?

Absolutely! Sir Chocolate's table set up includes an elegant fabric wrap for the base of the chocolate machine and greenery to enhance the overall presentation. If you would like to add additional items/decorations to the table, we are always happy to accommodate our Clients. Please feel free to confer with our Event Consultant during the booking and contract stage of our agreement.

Is there an additional charge for more chocolate?

The initial 20lbs provided in our Premier Service Plan will feed approximately 225 guests. If additional chocolate is needed it will be charged at $4.00 per pound.

What is the cost if I wish to extend the chocolate fountain running time of the Premier Service?

It is $50 per additional hour.

Do you provide service outside the Hampton Roads Area?

We provide service on the Southside as well as the Peninsula. This covers all cities including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg. Others are done on a case-by-case basis, depending on how far out and scheduling restraints.

May I rent a Chocolate machine without the operator?

No. In an effort to maintain the highest standard of quality service, the chocolate machine is always accompanied by a professional, uniformed operator.

May I use my own caterer to provide dipping items?

Yes, our Premier Service Plan calls for the client to provide all dipping items. We will still provide a Qualified Uniformed Operator to be sure your event goes as smoothly as possible.

I'm planning a Bar Mitzvah is your Chocolate Kosher?

Yes, we use a very high quality Chocolate that is certified Kosher. Additionally, we can provide Pareve Chocolate upon request.

May I personally supply my own dipping items?

Yes, you may, although we would need to pre-approve the list prior to your event. Some items are not suitable for the chocolate machine and cause problems during operation.

May I choose more than 8 Dipping Delight items?

8 is currently our standard limit, although we are happy to discuss this on a case-by-case basis. Please confer with our Event Consultant during the contract phase of our agreement.

What are the power requirements for the Chocolate Machine?

The Chocolate machine requires one 120volt /15amp standard outlet, preferably within 10 feet of your desired setup location.

How long can the Chocolate machine run before the chocolate starts to harden?

Actually forever, because the base of the Chocolate machine acts as a tempering/heating unit that will keep the chocolate at a constant temperature if the machine is free of drafts that will tend to make the chocolate harden.
